I'd personally go with the Springer and their lifetime warranty and #1 customer service. I had this very similar debate with myself a little while back. After doing tons of research and reading the tons of complaints about FTF and feeding issues with the new Kimbers, I decided on SA.
My decision stemmed not from the fact that some people had issues with their pistols, (I mean let's face it, every manufacturer is going to have a QC slip once in a while) but from the fact that Kimber was always reluctant to admit the problem and didn't want to fix it. Some people said they had put 800 rounds through it and called about a malfunction and he was told the gun isn't broke in yet. Put more rounds through it. It seems they try to push things back past the 1 year mark and then offer to fix... for a fee of coarse.
I rarely hear about problems with springer's but when I do, I hear nothing but good about their customer service, and gun smith's. SA believes in their product and they stand behind it. If you have problems, they will fix them.
I'll probably catch some flack from the Kimber guys, but just my opinion and research.
