Anyone remember ZORK?

Post by packina45 »

Anyone remember the old text-based computer game called "Zork"?
It is dark. You are liable to be eaten by a grue!

My two miniature schnauzers are firmly convinced that grues exist, and they're gonna let me know (loudly) if they ever see one!

LOL! Yup.

Some of us cling to nostalgia (cause it "only seemslike yesterday...")

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

Not sure what you're referring to, but I'm a bit older than that.
The original game, "The Colossal Cave" was developed in 1975=1976, and became Zork from 1977-1979.
Wikipedia has entries for both games.

Yeah, I did that a lot.
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

I remember ZORK and a host of other infocom games. I still prefer logic games to the "shoot-em-up" type games...

Then you might enjoy this! :tiphat:
