I might save some money and practice throwing old revolvers down range. . . I bet I can still hit center mass.

Ammo prices are high but not as bad as a year or two ago when people were hoarding for the zombie apocalypse.fickman wrote:. . . it's started going *Cha-Ching* when I pull the trigger.

I got a .22 pistol and it has helped with the cost of going to the range immensely.

absolutely!74novaman wrote:I got a .22 pistol and it has helped with the cost of going to the range immensely.
I spend about $400 including tax on my Ruger Mark III 22/45, and spend about $14 for 400 rounds or so, and after a few boxes of ammo, I have paid for the gun.
Now I head to the range, get lots of good practice in, lots of repetitive movements practicing grip, trigger, etc , and don't sit there and say, $.25 / . 50. oops, there's $20 gone and only shot for a few minutes!
I love my .22!

Ah yes, well you could always start carrying around a "Gun Free Zone" sign instead. They are cheap and work 100% of the time....fickman wrote:. . . it's started going *Cha-Ching* when I pull the trigger.
