New belt
Received my new belt yesterday from The Beltman. It is everything you guys said it would be. Wore it today with OWB holster and 9mm semi out on the trails. Yes, it is better than the regular belt I have been using. Just thought I would encourage those of you who haven't tried one to think about it.

Re: New belt
Just ordered a new one from the Beltman myself. I recently dropped 25 pounds and 4 inches from my waist... my old one didn't fit anymore XD
They're great belts, should last almost forever

Re: New belt
Beltman cut mine down for me free when I did a similar thing. Now I just have to figure out how to get him to add an inch or two back to the belt...or get back to working out again.dicion wrote:Just ordered a new one from the Beltman myself. Re: New belt
Received two A&G bullhide belts in the mail yesterday -- one for DA and one for me. Both look to be quality belts.

Re: New belt
correction...they don't offer round buckles on the "quick ship" belts. Got a square one instead (brass). But I did get an email from the owner and it is already in the mail.

Re: New belt
Used my new A&G belt last night for the first time. I ordered this in hopes to have a belt to wear with my slacks that have narrow belt loops so it is only 1". It is hard to find the double thickness belts in this width. I wore it with my 9C, to see how it would work with my heavier gun. I was pleased. I felt like the holster was held closer than with my other single thickness wider belts.
I am far from a fashion diva, and don't know if a round buckle vs square is more fashionable, but after discussing options with MAR that has another thick belt he suggested the square buckle and I am glad I got it. His thought was it would cause less wear on the edge of the belt over time, but I see how with the thick newness of this belt it would be more difficult to buckle with a round buckle - the square one slides right over the belt.
I think I am going to like this belt a lot! I also got a 5.11 belt for classes will see how I like it. Don't know if I will want to wear it a lot for every day - us gals have to worry more about the lovely ripping sound velcro creates when we go to the restroom more often than you guys
and it is some serious velcro. I did learn that the 5.11 seem to run "Smaller" - in order to get the velcro somewhat centered over my sidearm I had to get the larger size - not easy on a girls ego
Getting used to wearing belts has been one of the more challenging parts of carrying for me, but now I am where I feel kinda lost without one.

Re: New belt
I'm glad you like your new belt. They are great quality!
After receiving ny new belt A &G asked me if I wated to buy a custom belt that a customer abandonded. Instead of $79.00 it was $45.00 + shipping- Black bullhide, 38" 7 holes, Brass round buckle. I said, IS THE POPE CATHOLIC?" Hell yes.
I will say that my back problems are gone with the new belt I have. I never would have thought it. I have a formed HD leather IWB hoster that and a forbus mag holder. They are well supported by the belt. I'm a very happy guy.

Re: New belt
Grats on the new belt. I've had mine for several months now and it's without question the best belt that I've ever owned. I might need to buy another one in a 1.5" flavor though for wear with certain pants. I've got a couple of pair that have been relegated to the back of the closet as the loops are too tight for this 1.75" one. Works well with all of my Wranglers though. =)
