yes but most people who applied this month are getting theirs in less than three weeks. Hubby sent his Monday, received in Austin Wednesday, shows fingerprints complete, bg under review....mine has been sitting at fingerprints and bg under review for two weeks now....people from my class have already gotten theirs. Cctcaden got his in 18 days mailbox to mailbox.
In my side job I travel alot, covered under MPA, BUT I go into the homes of people I don't know and sometimes turn down assignments if it's a single man because hubby is out of town or for some reason can't go with me because I don't want to put myself in a bad situation. When I have my CHL I will feel a little more secure going into those homes. You just never know with people nowadays....
