I'm not looking at that update page again

After a month of seeing my fingerprints under review along with background check and manufacture all yellow I cant look at that "update" page again. I called and asked if that was normal and they said it could be like that 60+ days. bleh. Maybe leaving the country the week you send in prints flags you for slug speed?

Oh well more range time with the fun guns as I wait.

I probly should stop checcking every hour....

I know its only been 2 weeks, so Im not going to give up!!!
Going to be more than 18 days, but maybe less than 60.

I looked today...... WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I broke down and looked again today, and I am glad I did! All is green but manufacturing! Fingerprints and background are finally done!!!! Yay TX DPS!!!!

ive been checking mine about once a week lately...

odd thing is, i already got it in the mail last month.. why i keep checking? anyone's guess

I checked my page a couple of times, also, after getting it in the mail. The last time I checked, however, they had taken that page down and there are only links for changing your address, or applying for CHL instructor and whatnot.

Really sad that us grown-up-type adults rode that horse so hard that we have to go back to the rodeo in order to re-live it. I guess that is why I still frequent the "Waiting Room" forum...kind of living vicariously through those of you that are still waiting. I also get to share in the joy of those of you that just got your plastic. Win-win all of the way around!
