I hate these people! :mad5

They want to restrict our legal and constitutional right to bear arms, and they won't support (won't even acknowledge) Governor Perry's desire to guard the border and make illegals immigrate through the proper portals.

They are just
1) creating the database patriot/constitution lover "watch list"
2) being sure there's no competition for their own sales revenue

Fast and Furious
Operation Castaway
Selling M1A1 Tanks to Muslim Brotherhood
Unknown other operations

So if I buy an AR from Dealer A and then go buy an AK from Dealer B a couple of days later, how is Dealer B going to know that I purchased from Dealer A? The honesty of the buyer?

They're not. The only way this gets triggered is if they buy from the same dealer AND he submits the reports. Just another knee-jerk reaction by the DOJ which will do nothing to help the situation except create a paperwork headache for the dealers who happen to legitimately sell two or more guns to the same buyer within the 5 day window.

If I read it correctly, this means that purchasing more than one AR lower at a time, even from out of state (since they have to ship to a local FFL where the forms are filled out), will trigger the transaction reporting. So, if you even want to build a few it will be reported.

Happy day, America. Don't you feel safer now????

Today Glenn Beck was asking what to buy when he moves here; or before he moves here.... on his radio show.

Just wait 6 days in between purchases...

Or buy from different FFLs.................

If the State converts a right into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right with impunity. -- Shuttleworth v. City of Birmingham
