In a "case" of rounds, I'd hope to have more than one bullet, but I'd settle for one per shell!

I think you meant to say, "cartridge case."

Perhaps "Cartridge Casing?" Or "Cartridge Shell?"

Sausage comes in "casings," and explosive projectiles (artillery) come in "shells." "Spread out guys, or one exploding sausage will get you all!"

22 in compact size .45acp 1911.
28 in 9mm EMP.
40 in 9mm Hi-Power.
15 in .38special snubby.

So, it just depends on what I am carrying at the time.

If I know I am going to a bad area I will have the Hi-Power and the snubby.

If I am going to the corner store out here in the Country I just have the snubby.

Other than that, I just pick the EMP for Summer and the Compact .45acp for Winter.

I have an XD9-SC and carry with 13+1 and the 16 round extended mag in my pocket.

Kahr pm9 + one extra mag for a total of 14 bullets. I also carry a box (50) of 9mm practice ammo in my car. Always nice to have lots of ammo around when driving.

On me, 5 rounds in my J frame Smith, or 7 rounds in my Kimber Ultra CDP, or 8 rounds in a full size 1911, and I always have a speedloader or extra mag in my pocket.

On a road trip, I carry my J frame Smith on me, and in case of a a problem arises situation, I keep a 1911 close at hand with no less than 8 loaded magazines and at least 250 rounds of additional ammo.

On weekdays I carry a FiveseveN. 20 + 1 and three spare magazines. On the weekends I carry either my Colt or Kimber with 7+1 and 2 spare magazines.

I prefer my XD 45. 13+1 with 2 extra 13rd mags in my pockets. Not uncommon when traveling to carry 2 XDs.

You can never be to safe or have enough firepower.
