I agree. The only way a carjacking can go bad is if the occupants wind up hurt or dead. Any outcome where the armed perp received injury or death, is completely acceptable.longtooth wrote:"Car jacking gone bad."
That car jacking went good for the owner.
If he wants the car, give him the car.

That video is classic. I love how they refer to the armed carjacker as a 'child' ... possibly a child of Satan ...
Sounds like the LEO did right, saved his own life, and got a dangerous carjacker off the street.

They always leave out the good details.
What model pistol? Night Sights?
What type of ammo and bullet were used?
Was a reload performed? Tac? Slide lock?
Did the deputy suffer any hearing loss from the shooting?
Did the perps friend learn anything about jacking cars?
I think the city should sue the parents for poor upbringing and the family should buy the deputy a new car. This one smells like fresh gunpowder.
If I violated the 10yr old daughter rule in any way, please let me know. I've no tolerance for ignorance today. Well, not yesterday either. Heck, I can't recall having much tolerance at all, now that I think about it.
