Unbelievably sharp. Out of the box new I shot a 3" group at 300yds and i never shot one before. Would have been tighter in better hands.

What type of ammo was that with?

i spend 6 months of the year on a ranch near Laredo,,plenty of room for shooting the BEAST, the Barrett has a big muzzle brake,,kick is not bad,,,Match grade ammo, along with the great nightforce scope, with practice can easily get you 5 inch groups at 500 yards,,they are about 5.50 each,,the cheaper stuff still works well,,,API ,AP,ANY Trace stuff is not as accurate,,,mine is the model 99 single shot, with a 32 inch barrel,,it is said to shoot more accurate than the semi - auto,,but that semi can cut a path..it is not a cheap hobby,,,Hornady 750 grain boat tail,,,works well for VERY accurate shooting,,,Like any gun you need to see what it likes to eat,,,My Sako 25-06,,loves the 100 grain core-locs,,,by Remington,,220 yards 5 shots under 1 moa,,after trying all the real expensive stuff and reloading,,I am new at the 50 and still getting it fine tuned,,mile shots are not far off
