I GOOFED Twice...

...first, I waited too long to start renewing...I'd had my letter since February...took my class on 9 July...they told us to download/print a paper renewal app from the website...couldn't do it...called Austin Mon 10th and they verified you couldn't do it and sent me a paper packet...I went back to the training establishment on Sunday and got affidavits notarized and mailed at the MPO Sunday the 16th...was surprised to get a letter a week or so later with my affidavit for release of records...nothing initialed down the side..DUH!!! They sent a replacement form...which was the new one with no slots to be initialed...guess it was designed for challenged folks like me...and got that notarized and back to the MPO...that was over a week ago...just today the site showed they'd matched the affidavit with my app and were proceeding...all my fault...just too much of a hurry and overlooked a silly thing...but I'll hang my backside out here so maybe someone else won't make the same mistaie...I shoulda triple-checked it instead of double-checking...I'm not smarter than a fifth grader, I reckon...soooooooooooooooo I may not have it back by my birthday and may travel quite a bit lighter for a few days...and there's the CONS of PROcrastination....

Why not just get your LEOSA proficiency card and carry legally in all 50 states on your retired LEO credentials?

...because I didn't retire...I only worked 8 years...then I left to get rich...and the rest is history...wanna borrow a couple mil til payday???
