Big loss for Team Glock. My assumption is that after he won the Single Stack Nationals, some 1911 manufacturer wanted him full time. Could it be Springfeild Armory? Imagine TGO and Dave together, that would be a dominate team. And with TGO's knees, SA may be looking to the future. Just a guess.

On a sad note, I think we found out why Dave left Team Glock. Seems the team has been disbanded because of the recent allegations towards William Leonard Abbate (which on a side note explains why Jesse recently announced a divorce on facebook):

Team Glock was dissolved supposedly as a result of a scandal that has just recently come to light, according to press reports today, one of the teams trainers, Billy Abbate, former husband of Team Glock's Jessie Abbate and a Glock Team Trainer (supposedly the divorce was final about two months ago) was charged with

■Aggravated Child Molestation
■Child molestation
■Statutory Rape
■Sexual Exploitation of Children
■Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes.

No bail, federal charges pending for it happening across state lines.

The alleged victim was one of the 15 year old female Glock team members.
Dave was team captain. Randi is out, there was only one other team member...Tragic for all
