Ok. So I have been on Vacation since the 6th, and arrived in the Pacific Northwest this past Thursday. We are staying in Portland, OR with by brother in law. It is GORGEOUS UP HERE!!!
Anyway, Im in Vancouver BC right now, and if yall have never been here, you should go. This is an amazing, gorgeous place to see. We went up the coastal highway yesterday and Im not sure that the scenery could get more beautiful. Mountains on the east side of the highway, Pacific on the west side of the highway. It was amazing.
Also, Vancouver is probably the most densely affluent city I have ever been in, and Ive been about everywhere. Just yesterday evening in town for a 4 hour period I felt like I was in a car show. I saw two Audi R8's, a couple of Ferrari and Lambo's, and just to fit in here, they drive Mercedes and BMW. Im not kidding when I say that literally every other car you see is a Benz or BMW, it is pretty incredible. They are like the Civics and Corrola's back home. Haha.
Ill post some pictures when I get back home, its too expesive with roaming charges and whatnot to upload pics. Just sharing my experience of this beautiful country with yall.
Just to make it gun-related: Oregon=Doesnt honor TX CHL. Washington=Doesnt honor TX CHL. Canada=Sure as heck doesnt honor TX CHL. Ive been naked for a few days now, it is aggravating.

Re: Vacation Update--
Vancouver and B.C. are beautiful. I think the reason you see the Mercedes is that many of the Chinese immigrated there from Hong Kong before it went back to China. When I used to visit Hong Kong, even the taxis were MB.

Oregon has been trying to remedy the reciprocity problem...
The Bill...
http://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http: ... .pdf&pli=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Passed the OR House...
http://www.oregonlive.com/politics/inde ... y_lic.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bad news in the OR Senate
http://www.usacarry.com/forums/oregon-d ... ivacy.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
More confusion...
HB 2792 was passed and signed a few weeks ago..
In the "Bad News" link above it says this was the one that would allow reciprocity... but in the link below, it talks about a different purpose for this bill.

It appears that the bill as passed by the house DID include reciprocity http://www.leg.state.or.us/11reg/measur ... intro.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But the final bill signed into law did not.. http://www.leg.state.or.us/11reg/measur ... 92.en.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
