budget bolt handle for Rem 700 sps
budget bolt handle for Rem 700 sps
Bolt I have found an alternative to shipping off you bolt on your tactical bolt action rilfe. This item clamps on over your bolt. No need to have ther bolt cut and drilled out. This can be removed anytime or set up permantly. It makes a good option for a budget build.

Well that's nice. How can we find out more? Your post doesn't mention price, availability, or where we can buy it.

I just put one of these on my new Rem VTR. Great fit and much improved feel. Nice upgrade for the money.

I sent them a contact message, asking if it would fit on a left-handed Remington 700, and I was told that it doesn't.
Here was my message to them:

The reply arrived soon afterward. It read:Someone sent me a link to your bolt lift. I have a Remington 700 VSF .308 varmint rifle, and it is left handed. Will your bolt lift fit left handed rifles, and does it easily fit the standard Remington bolt knob?
Too bad too, because I would have bought one. My son's Savage 10FP-HS Precision came with an oversized tactical bolt lift.Hello!
Unfortunately the Bolt Lift won't fit the left handed rifles. You maybe could try it turning it upside down, but because of the rearward sweep of the right handed knob, it doesn't directly fit. Otherwise it's made specifically for the Remington knob. These vary in size greatly as they have been produced for many years, but we have little spacers that make a nice tight fit. Also the Bolt Lift includes epoxy to bed it on there like a rifle into a stock. Sorry we don't have better news, but thanks for your interest!

Would it really be that hard to develop a left handed model?

Nice rifle, and looks like a good upgrade to an already great rifle.
