How many different calibers of pistol ammo do you stock?

Poll ended at Fri Jan 26, 2007 4:28 pm

Just 1 (I've got the optimal solution)
3
4%
2 (let me guess: a center fire and a rimfire, of course)
7
9%
3-4
37
46%
5-8 (if you stock 38spc and 357mag, they are different)
26
33%
9+ (wow, what are they?)
7
9%

All are reloads except for the 22,
22, 9mm, 38Super, 357mag, 44spl, 44mag, 45 colt, 454 casull, 45acp, 223, 7mm-08, 308. I also reload 30-30 and 270 but I don't shoot them very much so they don't count.

I guess I need to step it up because I only carry 1, the .40 S&W. I only have 2 guns though.

22LR
32-20
380Auto
38Special
357Mag
38Super
9mm
40S&W
41Mag
44Mag
45Colt
45ACP

The inventory of some of these is rather low. ;-) I don't find myself using a lot of 32-20 these days.

Hey, no fair throwing in long gun calibers!

If we're playing that, I need to add:
.303 British
7.5 Swiss
7.5 French
8x57js Mauser
8x56R
7.62x54R
12 ga.

I'm moving in the other direction. Currently only 9mm, but plan to add either .40 S&W or .45 ACP. Ok, then maybe a .380 or .38 as a BUG...

Just the typical
9mm, 38spl, 357mag, 44mag, and by far the most stocked, 45acp. The 45 is the only one I reload for in pistol.

Just wondering what you've got in 32-20? Although I know they're out there, because a local store carries the ammo, personally I've only ever seen one pistol that handled that caliber. To be honest, I do see that particular Colt Army Special whenever I want to....

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Good thread. It's neat to read what others stockpile.
