A better smartcarry clone?

A better smartcarry clone?
I stumbled on this new holster while surfing the tube

Is it a better smartcarry clone? It seems a bit big and would make seating a pain.

Looks good mayby better idea then smart carry. I like the material around the trigger being more firm. It is def way to big though.

Re: A better smartcarry clone?
As we are heading into another 107 degree heat index day, I can't imagine having that huge piece of backing stretching from hip bone over to hip bone pressed against me for all day carry.
My Comp-Tac Minotaur leather sweat shield gets hot enough as it is.
Weather like this, I just wish open carry with a kydex belt holster was legal.

You're kidding, right?
Anyone who thinks that's a superior design doesn't know much about how a SmartCarry positions a gun.
That contraption would be like wearing a championship wrestling belt and positions the gun straight down at your package.

Re: A better smartcarry clone?
Another holster that will only work well for slender people. It appears that rotund folks will not be able to wear as easy as in the vid.
Re: A better smartcarry clone?
Not sure the slot they show for your Drivers License and CHL would work out very well. Pulling up your shirt and moving your hand towards the grip of your sidearm might not get the intended response from most LEO.
Re: A better smartcarry clone?
I agree. I have a SmartCarry and it has much less bulk than what appears in this video (the guy has his pants practically falling off to accommodate), rides lower (more comfortably and safer), and is probably better in hot weather.doc540 wrote:You're kidding, right?

Re: A better smartcarry clone?
I cannot imagine wearing that thing and sitting down.
My smartcarry works great for all those situations and is much less bulky.
I would give this one a try, but, not if I had to pay for it..... WAY too big.
YMMV

Re: A better smartcarry clone?
If it's so easy to adjust while wearing, what stops it from adjusting itself when you don't want it to?
I'm also skeptical of any product that claims to be great at everything.
Third, the random volume changes in the video are annoying. If that's their promotional video, where they put their best foot forward, what does that indicate about their attention to detail and quality assurance?
Fourth, I do qualify for their $25 discount but the price games are a turn off.
Fifth, I can imagine how much I would sweat if I wore that in the 100 degree heat we have now.

I wanted to see that guy bend over and pick something up. That thing would rupture something.
