I've been given three different answers from three different people, all three of them CHL instructors. Yes you can if you make certain arrangements, No you can't or Only if you can show that you visit Texas at least 6 months out of the year.
What is the right answer. I am going to be moving to Louisiana soon. I have a Texas and Florida CHL, but I would like to be able to keep my Texas CHL if I can.
Can you KEEP your Texas CHL if you move to another state?

All of those answers have been correct at one time or another. The answer now is: YES, you can keep it.
Change your address with the DPS when you move. You can do that here: https://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/NAS ... essManager ,but you need to have your PIN.
Once you change to an out of state address, you now have a valid Non-Resident Texas CHL.
