Gun Shops
Looking for a little Saturday road trip.
Want to visit a quality gun shop within 90 miles of Houston.
Thinking about Carrolls in Wharton.
Any suggestions out there?
Thanks

When you have Collector's close by, it's hard to get excited about another gun store. God, I love that place.

Go to T's in Texas City, I'm an FFL and I am surprised at how low his prices are. Pick up a new gun and reloading supplies.

The shop in Brenham next to ammotogo is supposed to have TONS of inventory, but I have never been. There is also a new place in Richmond, TX called Extreme Guns and Ammo. I walked in last week and thought they had a decent selection of AR stuff and a selection of handguns, but nothing that stood out to me.

Re: Gun Shops
I stopped by T's shortly after they reopened in the new.location. They were toobusy chatting in the back to even pop their head out and say hi. They looked out and saw me and went back to chatting. I got the impression that if they didn't know you, they didn't care if they got your business. Walked out after 10 minutes or so and haven't been back.
Maybe I should give them another chance.

It's the best gun shop around if you want to see just about every gun ever made.
You'd better plan on at least an hour..more if you want to see everything.
