Summer carry is usually a 642 or Ruger LCR with a couple of speed strips. For bad areas and winter I go with1911 officer, commander, or 5" depending upon my needs for the day. I have a SP 101 that I sometimes carry OWB rather than pocket carry like the smaller 38s.
I like wheel guns and SA. Variety keeps life interesting
How many choose to carry a revolver rather than a semi auto?

My EDC usually rotates between three different Glocks, but for "quick run to the store" events, I'll put my Taurus 85 Ultralite with Buffalo Bore +P rounds into my pocket.

Both. Glock 30 and S&W 642 as BUG; 2 reloads each.

158g LSWCHP. They can be a tad snappy in the Ultralite. But I try not to put a lot of +P through it. Don't want to beat it to death before its time.speedsix wrote:...what's the weight of those slugs on the Buff. It really depends on where I am going and how I feel that day. If I'm in a rush and I'm going to the grocery store, I'll carry my S&W 360 357 mag. At other times, I'll carry my S&W M&P 9c or my S&W M&P mid-size 45. If I am going on a longer trip, I'll use my 360 as a BUG. I have a DeSantis pocket holster for it and an IWB Galco KingTuK that fits the pistols.
