WTS: Sig P220 in .45ACP, .22 conversion kit, mags (DFW/Austi

Post by propellerhead »

1) Sig P220 .45ACP, blued, night sights, two factory 8rd magazines. One owner. I bought it new from Cabelas a few years ago. This has been one of my most accurate pistols. Great home defense gun. $590. === SOLD ===

From the Sig website: This 8+1 capacity pistol features a crisp 5-pound SAO trigger that breaks like glass and an ambidextrous thumb safety. The combination of SAO trigger, cold hammer forged barrel and near perfect lock-up offers shooters outstanding accuracy that sets the P220® apart from other 45s. The P220 SAO slide is machined from stainless steel bar stock and finished in a durable Nitron® finish. The lightweight alloy frame is hard-coat anodized and outfitted with an accessory rail for tactical versatility. The P220 SAO comes with either contrast or SIGLITE® night sights.

You have no idea how much I want to bite on this...

Ask other Sig P220 owners. It's the smoothest shooting .45 around.

You are *not* helping...

I forgot that I've still got a couple checks to deposit. I'll let you know tomorrow if my fun fund is large enough. Do you happen to know if it will fit in my P226 MTAC holster? I know the regular P220s are usually close enough, but I'm not sure how the thumb safety on the SAO models affects things.

I can't help you on the holster thing. But I can add that I already took the hit buying it at retail price when it was new. Now, the price has depreciated to "used" even though the pistol hasn't really depreciated. This is a blue box Sig, not a red box CPO. :)
