Austin's Capitol Metro bus and its 30.06 sign
I was told by someone w/ an CHL that the buses run by the Capitol Metro (Austin's muni pulic transit service) have the 30.06 signs. Are these signs legal on a city bus?

If they had them, they wouldn't be enfocible, unless they were being used at the time as a school activity. I can't imagine where or how they would be posted. Takes a big sign to post the whole thing in English and Spanish and in 1 inch fontj1132s wrote:I was told by someone w/ an CHL that the buses run by the Capitol Metro (Austin's muni pulic transit service) have the 30.06 signs. I thought they used to post them, but I thought they took the signs down. It may be worth checking, maybe the CHL guy was using old information.
Their web site tends to back up their new view with the following:
"Weapons, (with the exception of licensed, concealed handguns) explosives, car batteries, flammable liquids and other hazardous materials are not permitted on the bus. "
