On the last Sunday we had practice, which was before Thanksgiving, I asked it it would be held during the holidays. I was told it was suspended until Jan. 8th. I would hope they update their web site to confirm or give the correct information soon. But that is all I have heard.

I think they (Arms Room staff) get confused about where what is posted. The company has a web site, a web site-based calendar and a Facebook page. Rarely are the three in sync.

I also have taken time more than once to drive out for a SUnday AM or MOnday evening shoot, only to find once I got there that the event was canceled with no locatable notice provided.

Unfortunatly, its not unusual for a company to miscommunicate on its Internet presence locations. It's been my experience that this communication method is easily overlooked as a vital part of a business plan, being treated more as an "ad hoc" activity. These valuable tools are used without a formal plan and without oversight as to their upkeep.

Still a good place to go shoot--just some growing pains perhaps.

I have found that the most reliable place to keep up with changes in the IDPA schedule is on their facebook page. As a matter of fact, it was after my second trip to a non-existent event that I got a facebook account for the sole purpose of keeping up with cancelations.

Yes, I sent Travis an e-mail earlier today. Not sure he will get it. They send out the facebook notices but as you saif forget the website. Not sure who updates it.
