Black Rifle Central- WalMart?
I was in my local WalMart and swung buy the Sporting Goods section. They had two AR's displayed. One was a SIG-Sauer and I couldn't determine what the other one was. I don't think I've ever seen one in a WalMart. They must be getting popular

My walmart had 2 ARs as well. One was the Remginton R15(30RAR) and I don't remember the other one.

I think the other AR wal mart is carrying is a bushmaster.
They finally have ARs... If we ever see pistols and AKs in Wally world I think it might be another sign were winning our fight with the gun grabbers.

It'll happen. There's a reason Wal-Mart is the largest company in the world. They'll do whatever is going to make them the most money.

My walmart in Webster told me they will be expanding into handguns.
He also showed me a catalog that basically shows that they can order any long gun for you.

Walmart used to sell handguns a long time ago but got out of the business because of the permitting and cooling off waiting period process that was in place in so many states. Now that those have gone by the wayside, it is possible they are going to re-dip their toes in the water and try again. I hope they do!

I have not seen any at my local Wal Mart yet either...but they do sell a lot of ammo. I wonder what data Wal Mart uses for deciding what to sell?
I must add that I am sure that there is a whole lot of guns walking around that I dont see...

My wally-world only has ammo, but I would welcome them selling any gun again. My first ever gun purchase was a Mossberg 500 at a Walmart. That was decades ago.

Havent been into a wal mart in a while. This is good to hear, so many people go in and out of wal mart it will make an impression. Guns aren't evil nasty weapons of destruction, normal people buy them at wal mart.

I'll never buy a gun at Walmart for caving into Bloomberg and the so-called "Mayors Against Illegal Guns".
Mayors against illegal guns partners with Walmart
Wal-Mart agreed to follow the gun grabbers’ sub-group’s “10-point Voluntary Code.” Which is:
Yep I won't be rushing there to buy ANY kind of firearm or ammo. EVER. Unless Walmart dumps MAIG in a very public way.

Mayor Bloomberg own private gun registry.. how very special1. Videotaping the Point of Sale for All Firearms Transactions. Participating retailers will videotape the point-of-sale of all firearms transactions and maintain videos for 6 months to deter illegal purchases and monitor employees.
2. Computerized Crime Gun Trace Log and Alert System. Mayors Against Illegal Guns will develop a computerized system that participating retailers will implement over time to log crime gun traces relating to the retailer. Once the program is in place, if a customer who has a prior trace at that retailer attempts to purchase a firearm, the sale will be electronically flagged. The retailer would have discretion to proceed with the sale or stop the sale.
3. Purchaser Declaration. For sales flagged by the trace alert system, participating retailers will ask purchasers to fill out a declaration indicating that they meet the legal requirement to purchase the firearm.
4. Deterring Fake IDs. Participating retailers will only accept valid federal- or state-issued picture IDs as primary identification. Retailers will utilize additional ID checking mechanisms.
5. Consistent Visible Signage. Participating retailers will post signage created by the Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership to alert customers of their legal responsibilities at the point-of-sale.
6. Employee Background Checks. Participating retailers will conduct criminal background checks for all employees selling or handling firearms.
7. Employee Responsibility Training. Participating retailers will participate in an employee responsibility training program focused on deterring illegal purchasers. The Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership will create an online training system based on Wal-Mart’s training program.
8. Inventory Checking. Participating retailers will conduct daily and quarterly audits. Guidelines will be based on Wal-Mart’s existing audit procedures.
9. No Sales Without Background Check Results.Participating retailers would prohibit sales based on “default proceeds,” which are permitted by law when the background check has not returned a result within 3 days.
10. Securing Firearms. Participating retailers will maintain firearms kept in customer accessible areas in locked cases or locked to racks.
Yep I won't be rushing there to buy ANY kind of firearm or ammo. EVER. Unless Walmart dumps MAIG in a very public way.
