It sure is nice to do some of the "normal" things in life again. God is good and so is this Kimber. I really like it better than the CDP believe it or not.

Thank you sir. Held a plastic somethin-or-other at the TSRA show but felt like a plastic 2x4. This one feels like a 1911. :smilelol5:

You should not be in too much trouble. Even tough the safety is down, it seems that the gun is empty.

Gary,
How is the 10mm compared to the .45 in recoil? Any 1911 is good looking.

Brother those grips on your Springfield are good looking also. I love grips. I do not believe you can have too many. I am having a tough time about bobtailing my new kimber and loosing the magwell. I like the bobtail for carrying, but the grips are hard to come by.

Recoil is about equal or maybe a little more, depending on ammo used, to a +P 45acp round.
I've got some ammo though that will definitely raise an eyebrow of both shooter and bystander. :fire

Let me know next time you plan to hit the range and want company. You can give it a try.
