renewal time Mailed 11/23 plastic arrived 12/22

I am renewing and my package was signed for on the 28th of November and the status has not changed "Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials."

I know I should be more patient, but I also do not want to wait too long and then call in to find out that it has been lost.

Thoughts?

11/18/11- Application packet has been received from the applicant.

I was worrying about mine taking so long, but I looked back at a number of earlier posts, and it seems to take about 8 - 10 days between when they recieve it from the USPS until it shows up on their web page.

You'll no doubt see it show up very soon.

Agreed on the 7-10 waiting period (business days), it took mine a week and a half (mailed last monday) for me to see a status update. But I am currently applying for a new license. Process may be slightly different, who knows.

I took the class on a Saturday, mailed in my paperwork on Monday certified mail. According to the USPS it arrived on Wednesday, but my first status update didn't appear until the following Thursday. That seems about typical in retrospect, but it still drove me crazy waiting.

I changed today. 12/9

The next step is background check. I moved from Ohio 4 1/2 years ago. I do not know if that slowed down my initial license or not.

Fingerprints changed status from "Not required for Renewal" to "Under Review"
Background Check changed stats to "Under Review"

Fingerprints changed from "Under Review" to "Complete".

The Background Check changed from "Under Review" to "Completed" at 7:27 this morning.

The "Concealed Handgun License" changed to "Manufacturing".

I checked the status yesterday afternoon at 4 and the BG was still under review.

I checked last night and it had the license manufacturing as "Pending".

This morning I logged on and it changed to "Mailed".
