I have a confession....

Post by The Annoyed Man »

I carried my wife's Glock 19 for a while today. Yes I did. It carried very well in a Desantis Speed Scabbard holster designed to fit a USP Compact I used to own. The spare mag fit nice and secure in my Comp-Tac M&P45 magazine holder. I felt like some kind of dang Frankenstein monster.

PLEASE don't tell my friends down at the 1911 club.

I sincerely hope you seek counseling for the emotional distress that experience must've caused you. You might even need to join a support group.

A block, er excuse me GLOCK 19 is on my list of handguns to buy someday.

They may be ugly, they don't sit in my hand well...but they just work.

I used to hate Glocks until I started working with them all the time. It's not hard to be converted.

As long as it's not pink or adorned with hello kitties, it's all good.

I was once a 191 only guy. Then I took the chl course of fire twice in a week. Once with my full size 1911 during my chl class, once with a baby glock 26 while taking a first steps class with Wifey. I shot much better with the glock. Go figure. Now I'm a Glocker.

The weird thing, the 1911 still feels better in the hand.
