I am wanting to put my Eotech and 3x magnifier on my Daniel Defense M4. I want to leave the iron site on. Is there a proper spacing I should be aware of looking down the rail? Iron site, 3X, Eotech, Iron site? How close should my 3x magnifier and Eotech be to each other?
Thanks!

Re: Question on AR15 optics set up
A picture is worth a thousand words. Here is the setup on mine:

The magnifier is mounted on a A.R.M.S. flip-to-side mount. You depress a lever on the left side of the mount, and the whole mount and magnifier flip over to the right side of the carbine. When the irons are deployed, they co-witness with the reticle in the EOTech sight.
The rear end of the rear sight lines right up with the rear end of the rail on the upper receiver. Hope that helps.
