Sometimes, if your browser width is too small, the forum software will cut off the right side of the picture. It happens to me all the time, with the 1366 x 768 resolution on my laptop.

The trick is to right click on the picture and open it in a new tab. That will let you see the whole thing.

Great addition to the arsenal. Cool thing about the scrathces, is now you are free to use it like it was meant to be used. Kind of like getting thefirst scratch on a new pickup. LOL

I had a Kimber that I put two marks on in the first 50 rounds, I was so upset I sold it. LOL Now I have some tougher 1911's that get used as they were meant to be.

I have re-Cerakoted my carry piece Kimber CDP frame 5 times in the last 2 years. Keeps getting scratched.

Well.... first range report

Before I purchased the gun on Thurs, I put 50 rounds of blazer through it (I know, shame on me, but it's all they had at the range). No FTF or FTE's. However, I did notice a strange hesitation in the action between the ejection and the battery. I could feel each independently. I figured, hell it's dirty, no biggie. I'll clean it and no issues..

Fast forward to this afternoon. I have a load (6.2 grs winchester autocomp + 230 gr plated .452 over good primers) that I feed through my gov't all day long with no issues. First mag I put through the STI, I get a jam somewhere in the mag. This continues through 150 rounds. Some times the round is almost completely chambered except for an MILLIMETER that I just have to thumb the upper slide into place.

SO... I think there's a weak spring somewhere in the mix causing these battery failures.
