Hey guys, i was browsing budsgunshop and came across this snubbie. I really like the looksof it, and it looks like a great BUG option. Anyone have anything to say about it? Especially for a NIB price of $340, I am really loving it. Saw a couple of reviews online but I wanted to check with yall too....

I have a blued steel 605 (made in 2004) that's been a great little gun. Though, I'm not sure how that transfers to the poly model you're looking at.

I have a 650 (which I think is the hammerless model of the 605). Its all stainless though, so its a heavy little guy. Still a great pocket gun, have at least ~500 rounds through it, been carried heavily, and no issues whatsoever.

I have an Old 605 stainless that came with a factory bobbed hammer. I love it, don't carry it except at the ranch. With .357 loads it's a handfull, but manageable. Great gun. Not sure about the polymer version, but heck they have a lifetime warranty.

The polymer would make me a little skeptical....but an all metal Taurus snubby should be G2G.

I agree, my all stainless with full house .357 with the factory grips feel like you put you hand on a work bech palm up and let you redneck buddy hit it with a ballpeen hammer. LOLI would imagine the polymer would feel even better. LOL

Full house .357 will no doubt be a handfull, but I dont intend to do a whole lot of practicing with those loads. Just enough to make sure that it functions properly. However, with .38 it should be a pleasure to shoot. Ill be purchasing in the next month or so...and give a full review.

If it were me, other than the price I think I would go with the Ruger LCR . . . . wait, I did. Plus the LCR .357 is a few ounces lighter.

Just me - but does Taurus have no originality (beyond the Judge) - seems like every gun they produce looks just like another manufacturer's production model?

couzin - the first thing I thought when I saw the picture of the Taurus was LCR. I know it does not mean much but I think the LCR looks better.
