Opinion Needed on a Reflex Sight Please

I bought a SIG522 Classic for some inexpensive fun at the range, and I would like to purchase a sight for it other than iron sights.

Assuming I can get a Sightmark Sure Shot Reflex Sight for $45 NEW, would that be a good buy?

I had that sight, and it would not hold zero. Then again, one of my Tru Glo sights won't either.

For our local rifle matches I use and love the C-more. I have used most of the other name brand red dots out there but I feel the cmore is the fastest one on Target....both from the buzzer and for Target transitions.
They are also by far the most popular sight used on open division race guns. I have never had a problem losing zero.
You can find them used but like new for around $200-$225

I like to purchase items with proven track records, and the C-more has been used pretty extensively in competition for a long time now, and has held up very well. Both Aimpoint and Eotech have been in use on military guns for quite some time now, and they are both proven as well. Schmidt & Bender make a good RDS that has variable magnification (from like 1.5 to 4 or so), which is another good option, however, the tube is long which some folks don't like.

You can always find something less expensive, but you often times get what you pay for and end up with a sight that either won't hold zero, or loses zero after extensive use. IMO, your better off spending the cash up front and getting something that's been proven already.

Hmm... I'll give the Sightmark a try. I can return it if it doesn't work out. The others are out of my price range for now. Thanks all.
