A big +1 on Primary Arms customer support, too. And they're located in good old Pearland, Texas.

I recently had a question about one of their optics products, and decided to telephone rather than email 'cause I was gettin' down to decision time. Answered on the second ring, friendly response, understood my question immediately and had the answer--the correct answer--in 30 seconds. That was at 3:15 one afternoon. I decided to go ahead and place the order. Had an email confirmation immediately, and at 3:44 p.m. I had another email with the UPS tracking number. Thirty minutes from a sales question on the phone to receiving the UPS tracking number ain't too shabby.

Does my heart good when I see firearms-related companies provide excellent customer service. And it seems to be more the norm than the exception in this industry.

:iagree: Everytime i go there, i end up spending an hour or two just chatting with everyone.

The nikon scope that was mentioned in a previous post is a great option. I looked into that scope as well and was very impressed. I checked out the Primary Arms scope when i was in the shop looking at the trijicon and it is a good option also. Glass was clear, construction was good, overall an excellent option for a plinking scope.

I think the Vortex or an inexpensive Nikon would be good...also I believe Sightron makes some pretty good scopes for an attractive price as well.

Lucid optics red dots (ACOG wanna-be) are getting good reviews.

Pretty good budget option that uses AA batteries and has an auto-intensity feature.
Cheers!
