I read about this a few days ago. All kidding aside, the introduction of a non-native species can upset the whole ecosystem. One can not predict all of the effects of this alien prawn invasion. I happen to like oysters.

Re: Giant Alien Prawn Invasion Threatens Texan Coast
Many, many moons ago (40 +/-) I bought some prawns (12/lb) off of a shrimp boat in Delcambre, LA. They were marinated in beer, wrapped with bacon and grilled. YUMMO! Did I mention beer?
PS:
The Delcambre town council and mayor Carrol Brousard, passed an ordinance in June 2007 making sagging illegal, expanding an existing state indecent exposure law to add underwear to the list of what cannot be exposed.

So, we just steam them a little longer then, right?Oldgringo wrote:They get pretty 'chewy' when they get that big.pcgizzmo wrote:The Annoyed Man wrote:Then it goes without saying that you must eat more prawn.WildBill wrote:I happen to like oysters.

As long as they don't glow in the dark, I think they are fair game.MadMonkey wrote:Maybe that's why they're so big...TLE2 wrote:Their just running from the Japanese radiation spills.

Well, since this involves garlic butter, I'd say it depends on why they glow in the dark. Are fireflies harmful? What about those naturally luminescent deep-sea fish?Crossfire wrote:As long as they don't glow in the dark, I think they are fair game.MadMonkey wrote:Maybe that's why they're so big...TLE2 wrote:Their just running from the Japanese radiation spills.
