I watched this show called LockDown on the Natl GeoGrphc Channel.

turns out, inmates don't take kindly to "these types" in the "yard"

According to my son, this sicko graduated from his High School in Baytown last year and was deliberately choosing his victims based upon them being mean to him in school. He was known around the school as "Hobo Chester".
Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.

Yes and no...These types sometimes get "married" in the yard too. If they become the property of a big enough fish, they are protected in a strange sense. They still get passed around amongst that fish's friends like day old meat but, at least they aren 't food for the general population. Of course, almost everyone gets "tried" to see if he can be "turned out or flipped" at some point. At least that's what I've heard...Fortunately, I have no personal experience in these matters.
When you take the time out of your day to beat someone, it has a much longer lasting effect on their demeanor than simply shooting or tazing them.

too bad the critter never encountered an armed victim now our taxes will have to feed him for as long as he lives which hopefully won't be long
