Awesome Customer Service

Post by papajohn1964 »

I wish more companies were like this.

I bought a Phoenix Kicklite stock package for my Mossberg Maverick 88 after reading a lot of good reviews on them. I got it on Wednesday and it took about 15 minutes to get the stock installed, this includes the time it took to find a long screwdriver to get the old one off. I am very impressed with the quality of this thing and can't wait to get it to the range and try it out. I went to install the forearm that came in the package and that's where the trouble started. I could not figure out how to get the old one off so I asked my friend Google. I found out that I would need extra parts due to the way the Maverick is made.

I sent a e-mail to Phoenix at around 7:00 CST, 8:00 their time to ask if they had a solution. I received a reply from Brenda about 15 minutes later stating that they did know it wouldn't work and offered a refund for the forearm. After a couple of emails I told her how impressed I was with their CS and that I would be happy with a t shirt or a hat. She replied that she would send a shirt and a tactical bracelet.

It's not often that I have seen ANY company offer this level of service and thought that I should share it. If this is not the right place for this Mods Please move it to the proper place.

Good to hear some folks like doing business the way it should be done.
"I am a Free Man, regardless of what set of 'rules' surround me. When I find them tolerable, I tolerate them. When I find them obnoxious, I ignore them. I remain free, because I know and understand that I alone bear full responsibility for everything I do, or chose not to do."
