The IMF

Post by RockingRook »

This morning on the news it showed the IMF calling on the world to bailout Europe to prevent
them from economic disaster.

We [the USA] already donate a lopsided share to the IMF. I believe it is 25%. I do not know if
anyone has realized it yet but the USA has it's own financial problems. I am against donating anything to the IMF
or especially to the EU. They created their mess and they should take care of it on their own. The USA has created their
mess and we should take care of it also, on our own. Believe me the EU or any other country has never or will never bail us out of our mess.

I predict that Obama, in his state of the union, will mention the EU's problems and may even suggest that we help. If not in the State of the Union
then it will be soon that Obama tries to look nice to the rest of the world by helping to bailout the EU with our money. this will increase our
debt which will probably mean more cuts to the military, medicare etc etc.

Obama is going to try anything in this election season to make it look like he is the savior not only of the US but of the world. When he does this
I hope that all the American people will finally see him for what he is, a man without a clue as to how to bring our country back from the brink.
I am sure we will hear that the economic problems the EU has was George Bush's fault!!

I agree with Terry. That's an impossible mission.

Obama can do the impossible. You wait and see what he will do with our money.

Do I have to?

IIRC, both the Doughboys and the GIs already "bailed out" Europe...isn't twice, paid for with American blood AND money, enough for them? Not to mention many more Americans spending their time, and massive amounts of American wealth, for another 45 years keeping the Soviet Union from making them another group of Soviet Socialist Republics? I think its time for them people to pay for their own lives...for better or worse, I'm starting to get more and more libertarian every day.

The IMF also encouraged Zambia and other SADC countries to sell off grain reserves in 2002 to improve their countries economies...

Anyone know what happened in these areas around then?

Spend the most of someone else's money that isn't even born yet in the shortest time and destroy the USA? I'd rather not wait to see that.

It's funny. Every time I see IMF I keep thinking about the Impossible Mission Force. ;-)
