Arizona Investigates Feds over F&F

Post by Kythas »

Arizona is launching an investigation to see if any State laws were violated in the Fast and Furious scandal. Good luck to them.

It is a "feel good" investigation that will end up being meaningless.

If it ever goes to court, it will get thrown out because federal officials acting in the scope of their employment have immunity from state law under the supremacy clause . That is why the criminal case against Lon Horiuchi for the Ruby Ridge assassination of Vicki Weaver got thrown out.

Oh I sure hope that sticks...
I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Did they? Or, did they cause guns to be sold illegally? Also knowingly to convicted fellons. From what I understand the BATFE only caused the guns to be sold (stated that it was ok by the Federal Gov't and that the sellers were protected from knowingly breaking the law).
