This could have been avoided - don't allow guns at gun shows.

But seriously, if you are licensed to carry there should be no reason to disarm or unload a carry weapon in gun shows. Is anyone really thinking about what is being sold at gun shows:

1) guns
2) ammunition for guns

I know this was Georgia, but it applies here in Texas too since all the shows I've been to have been posted 30.06 and police at the door putting zip ties on guns coming in. If someone wants to do harm to people, there really is nothing to stop them from picking up a gun and ammo, removing the zip tie and using it.

seriously, some folks need to use some common sense when rules are made or close down all gun shows - which is probably what "they" the anti's really want to happen.
