I am all for carrying spare mags. Not because I think I'm going to need that much ammo but because mags fail and if it's not putting the little noise makers into the launch tube when I need'em then I want a back-up band at the ready.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
