Howard: Ah, there you have it, gentlemen. Our entire dinner unpacked by robot.
Raj: And it only took 28 minutes.
Sheldon: Impressive, but we must be cautious.
Howard: Why?
Sheldon: Today, it’s a Chinese food retrieval robot. Tomorrow, it travels back in time and tries to kill Sarah Connor.

Satellite navigation is NextGen? I know the FAA is a conservative bunch, but GPS was launched over a 1/3 of a century ago... it's more like PastGen than NextGen.ajwakeboarder wrote:Love the BBT quote. Part of this is already happening. The Satellite Navigation is called NextGen. We are starting to learn about it in my Air Traffic Control classes.
It's true that GPS is currently used in aviation. But Air Traffic is primarily controlled by radar. NextGen will replace radar ATC services with satellite based ATC services. Kinda like switching from analog to digital i guess. It should help eliminate radar blind spots.Dave2 wrote: Satellite navigation is NextGen?
