FWIW, you also can't put four kids, a dog, and pull an RV with a Volt. No thanks.
The whole anti-truck and anti-suv movement shows that the left is more interested in controlling behavior than in eliminating pollution. There is FAR more environmental benefits for reducing the number of interstate and cross-country trucking in favor of further development of our freight rail capacity. Google "ton miles per gallon" to read dozens of papers on the efficiencies of rail for moving long-haul fright. But fighting to reduce our reliance on trucking isn't as appealing as a social agenda. . . . so they choose to stand and judge your "needs" to determine what you should be driving, as if you owe them the justification. It's ALL about CONTROL!
