I would just make sure any gun could handle it and I wouldn't give it a steady diet of it. It went through my P-95 and a friend put some through a sig 9mm but its hot! I would only test and use as a carry round!
I didn't think it was noticeably harder to shoot than any other .45 ACP. I put 100 rounds of it through my 1911 before choosing to carry it. Helps that I carry a full size 1911.
I don't have the "T" rounds but I do carry the Ranger's in my XD.
My partner likes the PDX1's which I think are just as good as the "T" rounds as far as expansion and not coming apart once they start to open up.

I carry the Ranger T in both my Sig 40 cal and 45 ACP. Actually I carry ranger in my .357 and 9mm also. SGammo.com and ammunition to go has Ranger in various types. I have some old "Black Talon" that I've had for years, and the Ranger T appears to be the same stuff without the black coating.
