Weekend Hunting/Shooting Trip

Post by snatchel »

I need to thank Morgan and Johnny from this forum. This weekend they ran up to the ranch in Cisco this weekend and taught me so much! I bought a wheelie a while back, and still haven't quite gotten the hang of shooting it after running semi-autos all my life. Those two fellas came all that way to teach me to shoot and kill some pigs. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pigs... but we did get some rabbit, and threw a ton of ammo downrange!

We camped Fri & Sat night, hunting every morning and evening, and even made the gunshow up in Abilene on Saturday afternoon. The cold nights didn't stop us though, and I look forward to doing it all over again soon!

Sounds like a good time was had by all.

Yes, we killed a few Thumpers... but one did survie to carry on their thumperish legacy. His name is Rhino, and we caught him and brought him back to my wife.

V- Yeah, we need to do better on the piggy end next time. I think Jake, Joseph, and I will go out to the ranch and bury some corn. Let is set a week or two before we go out there for a hunt. That way at least maybe we can get some of them?
