ARs at Cabelas

Post by GEM-Texas »

Don't bother to go the Buda store for the guns advertised on sale at the Cabelas web page. They don't have them. In fact, they are sold out across the country but they still advertise them. A touch of a bait and switch.

Rather annoying.

Their excuse is that they the print the ads quite awhile ago. Except -this is a web page. :mad5
Also, they don't give rain checks and you are stupid if you ask for one.

Yep, you are stupid if you don't call first, looking in the mirror. :grumble

Try a mom and pop store. You may even get a better price. Or, build your own. It's not that difficult and very satisfying.

I agree but I had points and a coupon that made it seem worthwhile. Live and learn.

They most certainly did have at least one type in stock this weekend, and on sale, too: the S&W M&P 15-22. ;-)

If you combine sales with gift cards, coupons, credit card rebates, and Cabela's bucks, Cabela's can be OK on price. You just have to do a little homework (i.e., arithmetic) before you buy.
