Seems to me if it is the Princess of Mars. That is what the movie should have been titled. And if the princess was naked in the book, so be it.
Would have given the Disney Princess a whole new look.

So I took my bride to see it yesterday, and ignoring all of the gratuitous departures from the book, I thought it was a pretty good movie.

Nope, 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, slightly redundant, but having a backup never hurts.OldCannon wrote:Yup, everything I've heard is that it's a pretty good "popcorn movie."jimlongley wrote:So I took my bride to see it yesterday, and ignoring all of the gratuitous departures from the book, I thought it was a pretty good movie.

Just reread the first few chapters while at the Chiropractor/Acupuncturist, and the "leather" worn by the green men in the movie is presented as pretty much the universal attire of ALL denizens of Barsoom. Would have made the movie more interesting for me.
