All I can say is "ditto" to what everyone else has written. Prayers have been sent and the tragic loss of a good Marine is felt.

Thanks for the kind words, all of you.

I have been on the phone all day making arrangements. I fly out Saturday, Chris' body is set to arrive Sunday. I spoke with Erin, Chris' wife, her faith and strength are evident. A MARINE wife is tuff.
We spoke at length about Chris, she said repeatedly how Chris always considered me his brother he never had (he was a only child). That choked me up--alot of memories and feelings have been flooding my mind; I wish now I could have been there for him...

Moving on I know the best thing I can do for Chris is be there for his family. I also spoke at length with Chris father, Jack--also a Marine--he put it plainly that he wanted answers about Chris' death--I have vowed to find out. I contacted a former spook who now works for a certain Security company, if anybody is in the know about this, he would be. When I go to Virginia, I plan on going to DC to pay him a visit and a few other folks I know in the DOD and Dept of State.

Thanks again, for your support.

Prayer sent for his family. Sounds like we lost quite an honorable guy.
