But it's not even a "real" 20x zoom .... it's 10x optical zoom (optical zoom is the actual viewing power of the glass itself - this is the equivalent number to what any normal set of binoculars would have - 10x, not 20x) then a 10x "digital" zoom on top of that - "digital zoom" is nothing more than cropping an existing image to make the subject appear larger in the new frame. In effect, you have a 10X zoom HD image, but when you zoom all the way to 20x you have effectively cut your image pixel size substantially to the point that it's no longer a true HD image (manufacturer will claim that "interpolation" cheats maintain HD resolution, but in reality they render a very subpar image compared to true HD-level optics).

The zoom on this camera is like saying a 9mm is really a .45 caliber, because the hollow point will expand to .45 caliber size on impact. It's technical "spin" and is simply not true.

You got a point, but for what is worth, a good 10x Bino could cost hundreds and 3d camcoders are $1K+ 2-in-1 is very cool, if the price is right, I am in the game.

That's an April Fools joke, right. Because I was watching CSI and they zoomed in a lot and the image was crystal clear.
