Finally picked up a .22 pistol
Found a Ruger Standard made the year I was born in a local pawn shop. 4.75" barrel, original grips, and better than 90% on the finish. After a little bit of talking (just talking, no haggling) I took it home for $275 out the door. I'm pretty happy with it. If anyone else is looking for a .22 pistol in the SW Houston area, they also have a Standard with the 6" barrel for sale. The finish isn't quite as good, but it is still in great shape.
