Hi Andy C , i have heard the FBI NISC background checks can be problematic. In fact i purchased two firearms from a local gun shop and one from bass pro shop and it went well for me . I am about to make a business trip which will "reset" my I94 card ..... so will likely have to wait another 90 days before i can think about another purchase but for now i am happy with what i have :-)

For anyone who sees this post and is a nonimmigrant alien wishing to purchase a firearm ............ there is a new development in the 90 day proof if residence rule . The ATF is in the process of relaxing this
