opinions needed on single gun safes

I have 2 young children but would like to have a couple of single gun safes around the house. Right now all are guns are in safes in the master bedroom but with all the recent home invasions if I am not in my bedroom when the break in happens I would like to have another option for retrieving a gun. I am looking for a couple of single gun safes that I could randomly place around my house. I need to just carry all the time but if I am cleaning house in my jammies not really practical to be carrying. Thanks

I bought this one. Its been working great. I actually keep my snub .38 special and a box of ammo along with my Seecamp .32 and two boxes of ammo. Its worked like a great, pretty quick to open if you have a short code (really its to keep small children from opening it, not thieves).

Somewhere I saw a under steering wheel mount holster. I can't find it now. It wouldn't work for me with young kids in and out of the car all the time but seemed intriguing.

I've seen those too. They are intriguing. I meant for if I had to disarm while out & about though. Something I could lock and put under the seat. I didn't notice if that one comes with a cable or not. I'll have to go look again. :-)
