Well, it has arrived! My only challenge right now it to find the time to get the Saiga converted (maybe this evening :anamatedbanana )

Well I'm shocked! :eek6
I paid for mine in January 2011, I never thought they would actually ship but now I guess it will show up in a day or two. What was the "surprise gift"? An "I love Kushnapup" T-shirt? Wait, don't spoil the surprise!

Ok, I won't tell you, but I will say mine is one size too small

Well I'll be.
Glad to hear your "investment" paid off!
I have a 7.62 I would be willing to test out the conversion on if you want. Just send the pup my way! lol

So glad you received yours, OC! Do let us know how it pans out. I am fascinated by the concept, and am quite curious how they will perform.

Also, this video was posted by someone over on the Saiga-12 forums. It seems to be a "prototype" in the video, though how the gent received said prototype isn't made clear in the video, as he is not tied to Kushnapup. I figure the guy in the video is probably large, but man, that S12 is one compact package!

I know its been a long road, but it just goes to show the quality of people out there.
Although I don't think Bjorn has the greatest people skills, the majority of gun owners don't, and due to what seems to be his Eastern European back ground, he doesn't care either, and that's fine as I understand him since I have lived there.

However, I like what somone else said about the situation, but to keep it in context I will quote both lines here:

Original Statement
"It's a sad statement about kushnapup how far and low this thread has drifted...."

Posters Reply
"Or perhaps (considering how far and low other threads have drifted) it's a sad statement about us..."

In the end the product was shipped and here are my photos of the recieved product, I ordered this on 13 SEP 2010.

...just a few minutes' checking out the company on the web and other forums to see how much and for how long they've held customers in disdain and limbo...I think we've shown admirable restraint...I hope they pull out of the pit they've been in for YEARS and all get their orders...it's not about an abrasive personality...it's about trust...

Here is a write up of how to install the stock, along with some pointers and a few thoughts on it that someone else put together. Found it on the S-12 forum thread.

It seems like a few folks seem to be likening the LOP and trigger feel to that of the FS2000. Interesting! It also seems to get getting initial reports of if feeling quite sturdy. It certainly doesn't look very sturdy, so that is good news.

I hate to be a party pooper, but what is the appeal of the Kushnapup? It does have a cool name.

Same appeal of any bullpup. Rifle length barrel, SBR length handling. Nice, compact package that still packs a solid punch.

Of course, I can't use a Kushnapup because I'm a lefty. If I wanted a bullpup I'd have to go with something that ejects spent brass down, forward to can be changed to eject left or right.
